IKA club equipment is available for members and select non members use at a small fee. See costs below.
These fees are to cover repair and replacement of worn equipment.
Gear allocation
Allocation of club gear is based on a first come first serve basis.
Priority will be given to paid up members.
If members wish to guarantee their usage of club gear they need to inform the club trips officer,
via text message, of what they need, two days before the trip.
This officer will be responsible for allocation of the gear for any given trip
and should inform the trip leader of any requests for gear for a given trip on the night before that trip
Gear available on the day of a trip will then allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Note : Club gear may not always be brought on a club trip, so be sure to ensure you request it if necessary.
Trips Officer contact details will be distributed to all paid members via txt,
else use the web contact form on the club web site.
Fee collection
It is the responsibility of every club member to ensure they pay the appropriate fees for club equipment usage.
Every IKA club trip where club gear is being used should have a trip leader, usually the person who is bringing the gear on the trip.
The trip leader should collect, or nominate someone to collect appropriate fees on the day.
It is recommended to collect fees as gear is give out, before the running of the trip.
Any club member can collect money on the day and pass the money on to any committee member.
