Welcome
Welcome to the inny kayakers association (IKA) website !

Based in Ballymahon Co. Longford, on the river Inny, the inny kayakers association are drawn from a large catchment of local paddlers. The inny provides a c.4km stretch of prime paddling real estate with rapids containing some pour-overs, stoppers, holes and standing waves. It is the only stretch of water of this type in the midlands area. It provides the perfect run for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. The inny kayakers association pride themselves on promoting safe paddling in line with the governing body, the Irish Canoe Union (ICU) safety guidelines and training structure. Trips away are plenty ! Checkout our website for all the latest news, views and happenings.

France 2010

Its make up your mind time. Ryanair have reduced their fares once again for the week 12/06/2010, so now is the time to book flights. Return flights are now only €54. We already have a number of people who are definitely going and flights will be booked this week for them. If you are considering going then please let me know as soon as possible so we can get the best deal for everybody.  I would suggest a €100 deposit by the end of Jan for everybody. The total  price for the week looks set to be under €400 (depends on numbers ). If you need any more information or want to book a place contact me on blacey@iolfree.ie or 0868338450.
