Welcome to the inny kayakers association (IKA) website !
Based in Ballymahon Co. Longford, on the river Inny, the inny kayakers association are drawn from a large catchment of local paddlers. The inny provides a c.4km stretch of prime paddling real estate with rapids containing some pour-overs, stoppers, holes and standing waves. It is the only stretch of water of this type in the midlands area. It provides the perfect run for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. The inny kayakers association pride themselves on promoting safe paddling in line with the governing body, the Irish Canoe Union (ICU) safety guidelines and training structure. Trips away are plenty ! Please contact us in our contacts section above if you are interested in membership as at certain times of the year due to large numbers of applications, membership is sometimes capped on a temporary basis. Checkout our website for all the latest news, views and happenings.
